'ight my name is David James Rosenbaum, im 17 years old, and i live in Phoenix Arizona. Phoenix is pretty tight but its hot as hell. Ive lived in Az all my life and its so HOT. Any way the skate community here is pretty big, we have some legit shops then we also have those half ass shops like Industrial, Jeremy Rogers rides for them which is wierd but anyways... The spots here are pretty damn good. People are starting to knob more and more spots and call more cops but whatever. Ive been arrested once for skating in AZ, don't go to project moore in tucson haha. Basically you just have to know where you can and cant go..... In az theres also a bunch of slab spots where you hardly ever get kicked out...So you guys just put obstacles and shit at those spots?
Yeah, you see alot of peoria slabs in the spotlight.... Also there's a lot of coverage at another slab spot in az you've prolly seen it on the cover of Free Your Mind, Darrell is Bs noseblunting a fridge we brought.. We also build quarter pipes there and bring baricades... basically its like a park we made.
How long have you been filming for? Who are you filming nowadays and with what setup? Any upcomers in the people you film?
About 2 years ago or so I bought a gl2 not really knowing anything about cameras. I then realized i made a mistake and ordered a vx1000. I've been taking filming seriously for about a year now.
Recently I've just been filming with my friends and what not . Upcomers.....yes ...this kid Nick Fiorini, this crazy italian kid, he's so freaking gnarly, im talking nollie flip 16 gnarly and shuv el torro, he rides for Darkstar, well hes flow and also sponsored by a shop called pv grnd. We go on late night filming missions almost every night, he has them nollie stuff down for sure. I also film Ryan Lay sometimes I actually filmed some tricks in the filmbot files of him. All i know is that youll be seeing Nick around very very soon
P.V.W.H.L, your video, should be dropping sometime this summer. Hows that faring and why the inspiration of the Pj Ladd vid?
Basically Peter vlad is the goofiest kid you'll ever meet, he's so funny and he's so fun to skate with, hes sick too.. His name sounds like Pj Ladd too so it goes with the name. The thing I think people will like in this vid is that the kids that are having parts all skate totally different for example : nollie on hand rails=Nick Fiorini, Tech=Rob Moore, Gap whore=Evan o., and wierd trick=Vlad.
