Spotlight: Jesse Anthony
Whats up Jesse, tell us a little about yourself. Ya know, the vital info.
Well I'm 20 years old, and live up here in Canada where I just moved from the east coast in New Brunswick and now I'm currently living on the west coast in Vancouver.
Damn it's gotta be cold up there, how many months out of the year do you get robbed out of?
Back east I could skate/film up till the end of November or early December then it got really cold and would snow pretty much up to the middle of March.
I haven't been here in Vancouver for a winter yet but from what I hear it rains all winter and doesn't snow so it's probably the same as the east as far as not skating that much during the winter.
How'd you get into this filming biz, any film/filmer that inspired you to do this?
I think it was like 2003 when I busted my ankle and couldn't skate, I bought a cheap dv camera and filmed some friends and soon after bought a vx, since then I've been filming as much as I can.
A video that first got me hooked was probably after watching Feedback and Sorry, both videos are amazing.
Here's the dreaded setup question, what's in your bag man?
Right now my setup is a vx1000, mk1, Bescor 50/100, and a ty evans ogio bag. Sometimes I'll lug around my K-3 16mm camera and sanyo super-8.
Care to hype up any future projects perhaps?
Nothing planned right now just puttin together promo's for some friends and making some montages for my website www.timelineskateboarding.com
Any last shout outs?
Shout out to Steve for hooking up this spotlight, to all my family for being supportive, my roomates for always being down to skate, and anyone else that I probably forgot, Peace!!
