First off the annual SP montage is in the footage collection process. Tim Cisilino is taking on the daunting task. You can submit your uncompressed clips over AIM to 'spmontage2009' or through a java app that Erik was nice enough to write up. More details can be found here.
Also Dave has 18 more days before I have the rough draft of the SP Tour 2009 DVD in my hands or the bet is off Mr Carulli.

SBC Photographer Owen Woytowich just had his bag snatched from him, this bag is essentially a dream for most of us on here is now in the hands of some deviant that more than likely has no comprehension of the value it holds to its rightful owner.
View this page for a more accurate description of all of the gear missing. One of the items is a Hasselblad 30mm (which series isn't defined, could somebody clarify?) which aren't readily in abundance so perhaps if the internet police could be on the lookout with somebody selling that rare item coupled with one of the other items such as a Q-flash which really is a combo that somebody in this sector would have.
It's sad that this happens, it's a stark reminder to document all of your serial numbers and keep your floater policies up-to-date (or start one). I know I'll personally re-inventory and update this weekend.
A fund has been kicked off to help Owen re-coop his losses. If anybody is up for donating

Wired magazine put an article up about a month ago regarding top 10 peeves of photography. While they're in the right direction they seemed to miss much, far too much. SP needs an accurate top 10, who's down?
